Another major problem is that tap water is not potable throughout the country. This implies that people, especially those from the lower income bracket, cannot avail of clean drinking water, since these have to be bought. In just 15 Years, 1.8 billion People will live where water is scarce. Today, nearly 900 million people have no access to clean water, and with 83 million more people on Earth each year, water demand will keep going up.
